Turkey Day with a ….’Flipped House’
Republicans have won control of the House, giving them a toehold to control the Democratic agenda, reports Politico 11/16/2022. Pundits have suggested that this will result in a new Speaker of the House, committee changes, the end of the January 6th Committee and the elimination of the hiring of 80,000 plus IRS Agents. And, more importantly, if history serves us well, this will end any major legislation in the near-term, which the markets…. have historically loved.
Although the projected red wave of republican votes turned out to be
a turkey,
Thanksgiving looks like it will end up being
a good meal for investors…
