Figures released by The Chicago Board of Election show that more than 14,000 votes were cast in Chicago during the 2016 general election than there are voters to cast them. The information came out when a Freedom of Information request with the board, resulted in a list showing 1,101,178 voters voting while the board’s own website showed 1,115,664 votes had been cast.
