The Spiral?
The tariff-inflation spiral that much of the media and many economists’ have predicted has… failed to occur, says Breitbart Business Digest 9/11/2025. Therefore, tariffs simply being taxes on consumers has ended not being economic reality. The August economic reports suggest that this was always a scare tactic. And, importantly, we can now clearly see what the sources of inflation pressure are:shelter, food, and energy. Yet, domestic categories like these have with little to do with tariffs. The 800 lb. gorilla in the room suggesting tariffs are not hitting the consumer is in the absence of any evidence that duties are driving broad based price increases.
The Spiral, apparently,
doesn’t exist...
