‘Someone blinked,’Bank of America has altered its forecast for the economy to include only a mild recession this year, says Breitbart 8/1/2022. This is a minority opinion among top forecasters and comes on the heels of a July that ended up being the best month since 2020. Although recessions are thought to be bad for stocks, sometimes the market falls before a recession and rallies while it still continues. As an example, in 2009, the market bottomed in March while the recession stretched on through June. The trick now, to the discerning investor, is how to be invested if this is like 2009 but be hedged like it’s not…
