Freight Watch and The Fed

The Fed may be watching the freight data, reports Business Insider 7/16/2019 as it considers rate reductions.  With shipments falling for seven straight months, reflecting trade tensions with China, the Dow Jones Transportation Index which has failed to hit all time highs, may be worth watching.  Nevertheless, a trade deal with China could quickly abate fears of slower growth and over valuations of US stocks.

Poised to Cut

The Fed is poised to cut rates in July was signaled by Chairman Powell during a two-day appearance on Capitol Hill in June, says FOXBUSINESS 7/12/2019. The question now is...how much and will it be enough to hold currents US market highs?
