The Head of Donald Trump

After tweeting a picture of the fake severed bloody head of Donald Trump, President of the United States, comedian Kathy Griffin apologized, then complained about the bulling from the Trump family she has...endured, according to ET 6/2/2017. Maybe SNL is next?

Terrorist Trifecta

An Algerian student, yelling, ‘this is for Syria,’ attacked a police officer outside Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, June 6th, states a 6/2/2017 Daily Mail article. This followed a London Bridge terrorist attack on June 3, 2017, in which 7 were killed and another 48 were injured, reports CNN 6/4/2017. And last, but not least, these acts all followed a May 22, 2017 Manchester, England terrorist attack outside of a Ariana Grande concert, where 22 people, some of which were children, were killed and dozens more were injured. Interestingly, all these events seem to be around the Muslim period of Ramadan.

Economic Optimism

A current survey by the Pew Research Centre says residents of America, Europe and Japan have a more confident outlook in their economies than they did before the economic crisis, reports an article in the The Eonomist 6/6/2017. The survey believes that this has much to do with the political party in power, pointing to respondents of the survey who said the economy is ‘good,’ increasing from 39% to 58% in the last year. So….do you think the change in the Congress and The White House has had something to do with this? Yes….according to the report.
