Free Money For Everyone
‘Free money’ for everyone is being demanded by Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, along with other Silicon Valley leaders, according to a CNBC May 25, 2017 article. At a commencement speech for Harvard University Zukerberg said Americans needed a new social contract in which all Americans would receive a Universal Basic Income. The billionaire went on to say that we should not measure people by GDP, functionally promoting socialism. He did not mention that past cushions like this had not fared well in countries like Russia, Poland, Peru and Venezuela.
Illegal Searches of Americans
Illegal searches of U.S. citizens by the National Security Agency under former President Barak Obama occurred on thousands of Americans reports Circa, May 24, 2017. This is based on a recently unsealed court document dated April 26, 2017. Apparently, one out of every 20 searches seeking internet data on Americans inside the NSA’s Section 702 database transgressed the provisions Obama and his intelligence heads promised to adhere to in 2011. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court censured administration officials, stating the violations amounted to a “very serious Fourth Amendment issue.” Could this be tied to Trump’s comment that Obama had surveilled him? The swamp keeps getting deeper and deeper.
