Could this Low be Good
Many stock valuations have moved into a compelling range for investors after the most recent market fall, says Jeremy Siegel, in a Fortune 6/13/2022 article. Siegel, a professor of finance at the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania since 1976, believes the S&P 500 is already pricing in a recession and a bear market. Siegel, supporting his thesis, noted that the S&P 500 is now trading at around 17 times forward earnings, and if you exclude tech stocks, the figure is even more compelling at just 13 times forward earnings; Siegel went on to add this commentary:
“You rarely see it that low.”
Now to see if these improved earnings allow us to postulate this compelling phrase:
"…Could this Low be Good???"
