Will Fairytales Come True???
There’s talk of a .75 or a 1.00 basis point movement by the Federal Reserve Bank, says Fox News 6/10/2022, after a faster than-expected rise in prices and a record low hitting consumer sentiment this week. This rocked the markets and pushed the 10-year government bond to over 3.20% in the Friday session, with Consumer Staples being the only core sector holding up and Consumer Discretionary and Technology fading the most. The next Tuesday-Wednesday meeting of the Fed should tell the tale.
Will fairytales come true?
…or will it continue to be the slow sludge to a 1.75 to 2.50 federal funds rate at the end of this year?
Let us hope it’s not a ‘Grimm’ Fairytale….
