America Begins to Reopen (Spring at Last)
24 states have begun to reopen as of this day, May 4, 2020, reports TheNew York Times, 5/4/2020. Further, 3 states are experiencing an order lifting or reopening, while 20 states have remained shut down or restricted. Nevertheless, beaches,state parks, barbers and some restaurants in half of the states are beginning to open their economies and public life in some significant way. Do you feel the end of winter and the beginning of spring…as a friend of mine likes to say…

The price of oil will stay low for a while, says John Browne, former BP boss, sighting the effect of supply exceeding demand, according to Reuters 4/21/2020. With oil prices dropping below $0 for the first time, Browne believes this global oil market is reminiscent of the 1980’s oil glut.
Cheap oil, low interest rates, tons of money dumped into the economy and the American People….
