The National Budget has become the 800 lb Gorilla in the room, with rumors of a debt limit deal pushing the market to and fro on a daily basis.Interestingly, the general view is that there will be a resolution just before midnight, reports Jack McCullough, president of the CFO Leadership Council, a professional association 5/13/2023. Nevertheless, bears are starting to reduce exposure to short-term bonds while bulls may be looking at a default as a buying opportunity.
