The Stick gets the Boot

Old Hickory Stick gets the boot…off of the 20 dollar bill, according to a 4/20/2016 New York Post report. Andrew Jackson, the seventh President of the United States and the hero of New Orleans, is to be replaced by Harriet Tubman, an escaped slave who became a famous abolitionist and ferried other slaves to freedom through the Underground Railroad. According to the Wall Street Journal 4/4/2016, a woman hasn’t appeared on United States paper money in more than a century.

New York Values

If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere, or so the saying goes…Trump and Clinton win the New York primaries, according to BBC NEWS 4/20/2016. On the heels of the New York values comment, Cruz received no primary delegates in the big apple. The report went on to say that the “new-look” Trump has a chance, based on the new, restrained Donald Trump on the campaign trail in the past few days.

Clear as Muck

Can you slide up? The answer is yes, if your oil, according to Reuters 4/20/2016, who reported that oil was up 3%. In addition, the article denied media reports of an impending meeting of major oil producers in Russia in May. Of course the Russian Energy Minister, Alexander Novak, was quoted as saying, “There is no such agreement.” Nevertheless, stocks, once again, gained on news of energy shares moving up on oil stockpile data. Clear as muck, as they say.
