The biggest stories of the event so far are Kim Jong Un’s sister shaking hands with Korean President Moon Je-in in a pleasant way, with Norway well ahead in the early medal count.

A Non-farm payrolls report showing wage gains on Friday, 2/2/2018, triggered a volatile week in the stock markets, according to fullyinformed.com, 2/5/2018. Fears that inflation pressures would trigger higher interest rates resulted in a market pullback in excess of 10%. The market fall seem to reverse when the S&P 500 bounced off of the 200 day moving average, gaining 330 points on the week ending Friday, 2/9/2018.
