AUTHOR: TOWNE SCHERER.COM 12/10/2015: Towne Scherer Private Wealth Management BLOG: Shortly after President Obama reassured AmericansThanksgiving that they “haven’t uncovered any credible threat of pending attacks,” according to the WASHINGTON TIMES, NBC NEWS reports a couple with middle-eastern sounding names, who appear to have been 'radicalized,' attacked a San Bernardino holiday party, killing 14 and injuring 21. FOX News reports that “the mysterious Pakistani women who with her husband were responsible for the attacks pledged her allegiance before the attacks to ISIS. In the wake of such events, CNN stated that President Obama reiterated his call for more gun control reforms. Whaaa? At the end of the week, according to BLOOMBERG, the Dow rallied on a good jobs report which “probably won’t change the Fed’s mind on the liftoff (of interest rates). In addition, “OPEC will maintain production at current levels and refrain from setting an official output target, a continuation of Saudi Arabian-led policy that’s driven prices to a six-year low.” Further, FOX NEWS states, very quietly, the Senate on Thursday approved legislation aimed at unraveling health care law. Nevertheless, it appears The White House has promised to veto the bill. Next up, on the economic front only two significant reports next week: Jobless Claims, Producer Price Index and Retail Sales. For, as Scarlet said, “Tomorrow is another day.” Maybe?
