Holiday Spending

A record amount of money is expected to be spent this holiday season, reports the National Retail Federation (NRF) 11/2/2023. This news is amazing considering the economic headwinds, steep borrowing costs, persistent inflation and the repayment of student loans back on. It is projected that November and December sales will rise 3% to 4% year over year. Those numbers amount to $957.3 billion to $966.6 billion in spending…

which would be…

the highest numbers ever recorded!!!

On such news, a new Speaker of the House and the Fed passing on another

rate increase, the markets rallied on what some are saying is

an oversold market.
