Another Jam-Packed Week
‘Another Jam-Packed Week’ is upon the markets again, says Yahoo Finance, 11/3/2025, with AI earnings in the forefront. In addition, dozens of other S&P 500 companies are also expected to report earnings.
Further, the markets will continue to mull the recent 25 basis point rate cut, shadowed by Fed Chairman Powell’s warning that an antiparticle rate cut in December is not guaranteed. Nevertheless, trade is also in the news with last week’s meeting between Trump and Xi of China in South Korea, resulting in an ease in trade tensions between the two countries. And then there is the Wednesday‘Monthly Private Payrolls’ numbers from ADP which is huge in light of the ongoing government shutdown. This will be couched with a ‘Manufacturing and Services Sectors’ update from the Institute for Supply Management and a preliminary look at our important ‘Consumer Sentiment’ numbers in November from Friday’s University of Michigan report.
Last but not least, with many pundits projecting a strong 2025 Christmas retail season, forecasting growth between 2.9% and 4.4%…. the markets appear to be looking for a reason to continue the current market surge that began last April.
And the icing on the cake…
Election Day on November 4th,
which may effect…
‘redistricting’ and future markets tomorrow….
