Obamacare is the Craziest
Obamacare is the craziest thing in the world, according to Bill Clinton, as reported by CNN 10/4/2016. Siting rising premiums for middle-class Americans who do not qualify for subsidies, Clinton went on to mention that some will wind up with a doubling of their premiums. This is a long way from ‘you can keep your insurer and it will be less expensive’ that many recall as the original sales job.
My Dog Ate My Homework
This phrase, my dog ate my homework, will possibly disappear into the past according to a 10/2/2016 AP report which says a growing number of elementary schools and other individual teachers have eliminated homework so kids can play more and spend more time with their families and sleep. The report points to the book, ‘The Homework Myth,’ as being a factor motivating some to delete homework from the curriculum. Alfie Kohn, the author of the book, explained to the AP that homework is apparently all pain and no gain. Nevertheless, there are no current reports suggesting that teachers are no longer asking the students to think.
Pence Wins
Pence wins big, was the headline of a 10/4/2016 IBT article, concerning the VP debate between Pence and Kaine. The main reason for Pence’s success was his calm demeanor as Kaine attacked. So calmness is helping the Trump campaign. Interesting. And, the market seemed to like this, with a nice upturn the following day.
