On ‘higher than expected earnings’ from one of the US’s largest bank, Wall Street’s main indexesjumped as much as 3%, reports Reuters 10/17/2022. The article also pointed out that traders are now looking at last weeks wild swings in the market as possible signs of a bottoming process. Further, bank earnings coupled with the abandonment of restrictive policies in England appear to be the impetus driving the market this Monday morning 10/17/2022.
