Take a breath….2022 is over, announces Barron’s 12/31/2022. In the wake of the rate shock wave that showed the worst market since 2008, we saw the S&P 500 fall 19.4%,the Dow Jones Industrial Average drop 8.8%, and the Nasdaq Composite shed 33.1%. ...Wow…And, from the ashes in 2023…The job market has optimists and Fed officials murmuring…. that the economy could manage a soft landing while monetary policy continues to tighten.And…Based on past trends, on average, bear markets do not bottom until after a recession begins, but before a recession ends. And, as some pundits have suggested, thatwe’re 2/3’s through a bear market decline….
there could be rosier winds in 2023…. Meaning…. B-r-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-a-t-h…….!!!!
