AUTHOR: TOWNE SCHERER.COM 07/17/2015: Towne Scherer Private Wealth Management BLOG:  San Francisco’s‘sanctuary city’ policy is at the center of the murder of Katheryn Steinle, a 32-year-old woman, killed by an illegal alien who had been deported five times, according to a Washington Post article.  The article goes on to point out that President Obama has elected to make no comment on the incident.  In other news, Forbes reported that China’s stock markets falling more than 30 % and Greece’s default on their debt seemed to calm down this week with China intervening with extraordinary measures and Greece receiving a possible new bail out deal.  Nevertheless, the report went on to state that Greece, China, Yellen and earnings will test the markets this week, with the U.S.A.'s biggest companies reporting earnings.  On the political front, USA Today reported that Scott Walker finally entered the presidential election race and is a serious candidate for the presidency.  However, the article also drew a gloomy picture for Donald Trump, stating that he is good at getting attention but has vertically no chance of getting the nomination.  And, finally, Bloomberg reports that it’s official: 2014 was the hottest year on record in the 21st century.  On that note BuzzFeed also reported that Patricia Krentcil is the tannest woman you have ever seen.  And, last but not least, as my daughter Haley was fond of saying, “When the going gets tough, the tough go tanning.”  Words for the business community?
